Free summer of tennis for Wells’ key workers

Key workers can now enjoy a summer of tennis for free thanks to an offer from Wells Tennis Club.

Starting on Monday 22nd June the club is inviting key workers to join the club at no cost for three months.

The offer comes as the LTA, the national governing body for tennis in the UK, launches its new campaign Play Your Way – an invitation to anyone and everyone to play tennis, creating a more inclusive world around the game that celebrates individualism and welcomes all playing styles.

New adult members will be able to access five all-weather floodlit courts, two mini-courts and reduced coaching costs. Currently courts are available for booked singles or doubles play but the club is hopeful that social tennis will return as covid-19 restrictions are lifted.

If you know someone who works for the NHS, in a care home, makes food deliveries or is a teacher to name a few please share this offer with them.  This offer is for any adult key worker as defined by the government.
