Autumn Adult Coaching

Monday 9th September – Friday 20th December (14 weeks).  There will be no sessions during the October half term (26th Oct – 3rd Nov) and some sessions maybe cancelled due to unknown events such as the Wells Carnival & fireworks night,

At Wells Tennis club we run sessions for adults who are new to the game, returning from a long break or a social / league level with men’s and ladies teams in the top divisions.  So from beginner to advanced we have something for you.  If you are a new player to our coaching programme or you have any Qs, please speak to our Head Coach Kevin before booking your place.

Foundation Course

Lv 1: Beginner – Intermediate 

Wednesdays 10:00 – 11:30

Cost: £119 Term / £10 Pay per Session

Fridays 19:00 – 20:00

Coach & Play

Lv 2: Intermediate

Thursdays 17:30 – 18:30

What do the suggested playing levels mean?

Lv 1: Beginner: A new player to tennis or a returning player looking to build confidence, improve basic technique and learn tactics and rules or has low mobility.  It is aimed at players looking to move onto Social tennis groups but need a little more confidence.

Lv 2: Intermediate: A player who is comfortable playing in social and lower league tennis with club members.  An intermediate player has a good grasp of how to hit with correct effective technique consistently and can think about how to win matches.

Lv 3: Advanced: A strong league player / competitor.  An advanced player plays with effective technique playing a strong hitting game of tennis who is comfortable with fast pace and higher league tennis.

Rackets & Racket Maintenance

Wells Tennis Club offers a racket maintenance service such as re-stringing and re-gripping.  Our Head Coach Kevin trained with one of Wimbledons head stringers and is a member of the (UKRSA).  Currently in stock we have a range of strings and grips to suit all games but if you want a certain string ordered in we can do this for you.
