PLEASE READ: Players who attend Wells Tennis Club for coaching are required to be members of Wells Tennis Club as we like to encourage players who come to coaching to play tennis on a regular basis to get the best out of our programmes.  This can be done via our join us page and can be paid yearly or monthly with a variety of coaching options including adult beginners.

Pay per session is available on the above courses at a slightly higher cost than when you book in for the 6 week block.

What do the suggested playing levels mean?

Beginner: A new player to tennis or a returning player looking to build confidence, improve basic technique and learn tactics and rules.  It is aimed at players looking to move onto Social tennis groups but need a little more confidence.

Intermediate: A player who is comfortable playing in social and lower league tennis with club members.  An intermediate player has a good grasp of how to hit with correct effective technique and can think about how to win matches.

Advanced: A strong league player / competitor.  An advanced player plays with effective technique playing a strong hitting game of tennis who is comfortable with fast pace and higher league tennis.

Rackets & Racket Maintenance

Wells Tennis Club offers a racket maintenance service such as re-stringing and re-gripping.  Our Head Coach Kevin trained with one of Wimbledons head stringers and is a member of the United Kingdoms Racket Stringers Association (UKRSA).

Currently in stock we have a range of strings and grips to suit all games but if you want a certain string ordered in we can do this for you.
