Wells Tennis Club is in Lockdown
Following the Government’s announcement of a four week lockdown across England, and in line with LTA confirmation, this email is to confirm that Wells TC will be closed completely for the duration – as from Thursday 5 Nov.
No tennis or coaching is allowed under the lockdown conditions.
I know this is disappointing, but the committee and club’s priority is our members safety. We have agreed to follow LTA guidance closely and, of course, must stay within the law.
We will suspend direct debit payments for the duration for those members paying by this method. As previously stated, we’ll also reflect lost time in next year’s fees for those members who have paid for the full year.
The committee will meet again on 3 Dec and we’ll let you know as soon as possible when we can re-open the courts. Any queries, in the meantime, please contact us via the website.
Hopefully we’ll see you on court before Christmas. In the meantime, thanks for your cooperation and stay safe.
