Wells B vs Victoria B
Wells B Team kicked off their Winter League campaign playing host to Street rivals Victoria B.
The Mens pairing of Martyn Holliday and Dave Mills started well and never looked back. They made light work of their opponents dropping just 2 games to win through 6-1 6-1.
Lorna Jenkins and Julia Nest took a little longer to get warmed up, taking the first set 6-4. With the momentum behind them they polished off the match 6-0.
After the mid point tea break, Lorna and Martyn breezed to a fine 6-4 6-2 win securing vital points.
Julia and Dave had a very close battle winning the first set 6-4, only to lose the second set 5-7. In the 3rd set Wells just managed to break a Victoria serve to take the clash 6-4.
A perfect 10-1 win to start the season in style.
