Wells Ladies host Torquay

Representatives from Wells tennis club’s ladies’ league teams hosted a friendly match and tea against ladies from Torquay tennis club on a sunny April Sunday afternoon recently. This was the second of what we hope will become an annual fixture allowing players to practice their skills before the start of the summer league season.

Each pair played 7 games against all the pairs in the opposing team and at the end of play the total number of games won by each team were totaled to result in a win for the Wells team, which retained the victory cup for the second year running.
