Great British Tennis Event at Wells Tennis Club
Despite the forecast of heavy rain and thunderstorms The Great British Tennis Event at Wells Tennis Club on Saturday July 22nd was a tremendous success and the busiest GBTW event for the club. The club offered a free month’s trial to anyone attending on the day and 36 potential new members have taken up the offer, which included adults, children and families.. This entitles them to play tennis on the courts for free from July 23rd until August 25th.
The Great British tennis Weekend campaign was designed by he LTA to support tennis venues to attract more players, through the promotion of free opportunities to play tennis.
