I have been coaching for 20+ years working with all ages and abilities.  I took on the role at Wells TC in 2014 with the goal to create an environment where all players can enjoy the sport at club level and thrive in the competitive environment.  I hold the prestigious level 5 Master Club Coach award and have been awarded Somersets Development Coach of the Year as well as SASP Performance Coach of the Year.

I always look for challenges and after completing my MSc in Sports and Exercise Psychology I am now studying for a PhD in Thriving in Elite Performance which has heavily influenced my career in promoting well-being, development and success in sport.

Outside of my tennis career I work within the domain of improving performance confidence and overcoming performance anxiety.  

I have been playing tennis since the age of 13 and played league and county tennis in Germany as well as in Somerset. Watching my daughter being coached and constantly improve inspired me to start my coaching career in 2017. I qualified as a Level 3 coach in 2018.

I enjoy coaching adults and juniors of all levels and concentrate on identifying areas for improvement and finding the most efficient way to improve players quickly.

I am a creative coach who looks to identify different ways of helping players improve their technical and tactical game as not all respond to the same instructions or tips.  Small, constant changes can then be gradually expanded making it easier to manage without putting pressure or anxiety on players.
