Senior County Practice includes Wells Players

Four players from Wells attended the Ladies Senior County Practices, Wendy Edwards, Alison Wood, Becky Browning and Vicky Flicker held at Bridgwater TC on March 21st and 30th.

This year the Ladies Senior Capts organised two practice sessions for anyone interested in representing Somerset and playing in the LTA Senior County Cup event.
Somerset has 4 teams. The Captains are: 40s – Liz Deem (Trull & Ilminster) & Laura Galpin (South Petherton), 55 – Nicky Attwood (Bridgwater),  60 – Sue Williamson (Bridgwater),  65 – Vicky Flicker (Wells & Bridgwater), 70- Mary Buckle (Bridgwater),  and Carole Beach (Bridgwater) is the overall County Organiser.

These sessions were well attended and clubs represented were Avenue, Bridgwater, Crowcombe, Frome, Ilminster, Martock, South Petherton, Taunton, Trull, Victoria, Wedmore, Wellington, Wells, Wincanton, Winscombe, Wiveliscombe and Yeovil.
