Under 16s – a hit on court!
We were delighted to welcome 22 young players playing in our latest LTA tournament this Sunday. There were two tournaments with 14 boys and 8 girls in their respective competitions.
There was good representation across both draws from Wells tennis club. In the boys, Harry Weatherall and Joshua Dyas reached the quarter finals and in the girls, Sophie-Louise Sloman reached the semi finals and Emiliia Adamovych was runner up.
Other entries were from local clubs/schools and some were from further away including Bath, Chippenham and Southampton. There were also players playing up age groups and some players were brand new to LTA tournaments.
