Winter League is Back
A team travelled to Winscombe for the first of the winter league matches last weekend. Playing in the wind on hard courts with bouncy flying balls!
Our ladies had a comfortable win, but our men came up against two incredibly strong players. Lucky one didn’t play so well in the mixed and allowed Corali and Nik in to get some momentum which enabled them to win in 3 sets.
Unfortunately in the other mixed match the Winscombe guy absolutely controlled the match with some amazing net play. His speed and reach was just too good.
Luckily we came away with 4 points.
