Fundraising Quiz – A Great Success!
A fantastic evening was had on Thursday night by the tennis quizzers! Huge thanks to our amazing social secretary Juliet Matthews who was the organiser of the evening with her support crew in tow. Juliet had everything covered, local venue, thanks to The Globe Inn, raffle prizes galore including a beautifully embroidered club hoodie and cap, care of James Wood, a bingo taster, and of course the quiz!
Did you know what a ‘tittle’ was before last night? For those of you not there, have a guess before you google!But we weren’t just there to have fun, there was the serious business of raising funds for the new club house and we smashed Juliet’s hopes of getting to £500 and manged to reach a fabulous £676!!!
Thank you so much for those of you who were able to attend last night and those who donated prizes or bought raffle tickets, every pound made the difference.
