Brian Clarke: A Legacy of Dedication
For over 22 years, Brian has been a driving force behind Wells Tennis Club, serving as Treasurer, President, and Chairman. His leadership was instrumental driving Wells Tennis Club forward and in reforming grant access for clubs across Somerset. A passionate player and advocate, he has tirelessly supported the club. His work, including plans for the Clarke Foundation to support junior tennis, makes him a truly deserving recipient of this prestigious award.

Juliet Matthews: A Community Champion
Since joining in 2021, Juliet has transformed the club’s social scene as Social Secretary. Organizing events such as the Christmas meal, Wimbledon celebrations, and charity fundraisers, she has raised over £4,000 for club improvements while strengthening the club’s community spirit. Her dedication, enthusiasm, and generosity have rightfully earned her the title of Somerset LTA Volunteer of the Year.
