Cheddar host friendly competition
Quiet often you’ll see reports and stories of how we’re getting on at Wells Tennis Club but on these occasions we leave it up to the players to tell you their view. This is captain Charlie’s report, well done Charlie and team!
On Saturday 14th October we played a tournament at Cheddar Tennis Club. Our players were Luke, Mark, Akira and Charlie. Wedmore and Cheddar clubs were also playing. All the teams played really well and there was a very friendly atmosphere.
Fortunately Wells managed to get a Silver Medal. It was a great team effort by everyone and we all supported each other. Wedmore got the Gold Medal in a very close competition.
It was an excellent tournament at a nice club and we look forward to playing there again soon.
