Match report: Wells A v Congresbury A
Wells A team kicked off their scoring in the North Somerset League
Division 4 on Sunday 17 October against supremely tough opponents from Congresbury A.
Ladies pair of Marie Bruckshaw and Wendy Edwards fought hard after losing a first set tie break and came away with a win in three sets. Both ladies were glad their efforts gained reward!
Men’s pairing of Dave Mills and Tom Wilson were up against fantastic opposition and sadly their best efforts couldn’t stop a defeat in two sets.
Moving onto the mixed matches, the Wells team once again put in all they could but Congresbury took both rubbers in two sets.
