Wells Open Day 2017 The best yet!
Crafts, smoothies and lots of hitting added up for the best ever attended open day at Wells on Saturday 22nd April.
This was the second year that the club joined forces with BTEC business studies students at the Blue School who used the event as a live project for one of their modules. New ideas for the event included using old tennis balls for craft activities, selling smoothies and a range of tennis-related ball games.More than 100 people were at the club during the morning with many signing up for discounted memberships.
The next opportunity for free tennis at Wells is on Saturday 22nd July as part of the LTA’s Great British Tennis Weekend.
