Wells TC 12 and Under
Wells Tennis Club hosted an LTA sponsored tournament for 12 and under on Sunday May 7th.
The sun shone on some scintillating play with great shot making and competition was continuous for almost 4 hours. The tournament was won by Maddox Gould from Weston Super Mare, who only lost 1 game in four matches. He was closely followed by Vaughn Julian from Taunton as runner up with Thomas Walker from Backwell in 3rd place.
Dave Greenwood was the referee and trophies were presented to the winner by Julia Nest, Ladies Capt, and to the runner up by Dave Mills, Men’s Capt.
Wells Tennis Club will be running more events in this Sunday Series throughout the summer with a tournament for 14 year olds and under on June 4th and 16 years and under on July 9th.
