Growing Wells club shortlisted for sports awards

Wells Tennis Club is shortlisted for two awards from the Somerset Activity and Sports Partnership.

The Somerset Sports Awards 2017 has announced that the club, now with 250 members, is shortlisted for Club of the Year and Performance Coach of the Year.

Club Chair Dan Cooke said:

“I’m delighted that Wells Tennis Club has been recognised for growing participation in the sport at all levels. We’ve worked really hard over the last year to get more children and adults on court and improving what we have on offer for both coaching and competitive tennis.”

The awards will be announced at a ceremony in Taunton on Friday 16^th June.
