Wells Mens A vs Victoria

For their first match of the season Wells Mens A Team travelled to Victoria in Street. On a breezy evening under clear skies Kevin Durney and James Edwards edged a tight first match 6-4, 6-4 whilst in a to and fro match Matt Goatcher and Matt Ames-White won 1-6, 6-1, 6-4.

As the temperature dropped Kevin and James managed another straight sets win 6-4, 6-2. However in their reverse match Matt and Matt lost 6-1, 6-2. The final result of 8-3 to Wells reflected a closely fought first match of the season.
