Let’s get in the mood for the Wimbledon Finals Weekend
Saturday 9th July and Sunday 10th July sees the 2022 Wimbledon Finals … and the weather forecast looks set to be bright and sunny!
To mark the event, why not come along to our club’s ‘Sunday Social Tennis’ in the morning from 10.00 am – 12 noon. Afterwards we can then get together over a picnic lunch of strawberries, sandwiches, fizz (or similar!), before going home or out with friends to continue watching the finals. Please bring your own picnic!
There will be a raffle with some prizes generously donated by one of our club members Mark Ross from the wonderful Green Room Wine Shop in Glastonbury to raise money for club funds and how fun it would be to take selfies of yourselves watching the finals and sending them on to Kevin on 07970 562611 (via Whatsapp or email kpdurney@msn.com), who’ll make up a photo collage!
